01Is the platform fee a deal-breaker?+
On a 1,200-session annual caseload, 20–30% to Headway/Alma is $30k–$45k a year, indefinitely. If you have runway, Independent Launch pays for itself in year one and keeps paying. If you don't have runway, Platform Launch is the right starting move — and we'll plan the transition to direct credentialing inside year two.
02What's actually included that I can't get from the platform onboarding flow?+
The platform sets you up on the platform. We set up the business around the platform — LLC + EIN, NPIs, CAQH, EHR config, intake docs, one-page website, Psychology Today profile, bookkeeping, business banking. That's the part the platform doesn't do and that's where the value sits.
03Can I move to Independent Launch later?+
Yes — and we'll plan it from day one. The LLC, NPIs, EIN, CAQH, EHR, intake docs, and website all migrate forward. The credentialing applications are the additional lift, and we can sub-contract them when you're ready.
04Why no direct credentialing on this tier?+
Direct credentialing is a 90–120-day operational lift and a different price point. Forcing it into a $5–8K, 30–45-day engagement would either compromise quality or compromise honesty. Cleaner to ladder.
